Math: We concluded our study of data on Friday with our unit assessment.  On Monday we will begin our study of geometry.

Religion:  We just wrapped up a unit on the Apostles. We spent time exploring the members of the modern Church as well as discussing ways in which we can be followers of Jesus.

Phonics: We are nearing the final week of our vowel-consonant-e unit.  We will end this unit next week with the addition of the suffix s ending to this syllable type.  Up next in our twelfth unit will be introduction to multisyllabic words, compound words, syllable division rules, and reading and spelling words with two closed syllables.  This unit is lengthy and will take us to the end of the school year.

Science:  Students are enjoying learning about the life cycle of butterflies.  Each student’s caterpillar has moved to a chrysalis and will likely have morphed to a butterfly by Monday.  We look forward to our Adam’s Farm butterfly release later this month.
