I introduce myself to the class on the first full week of school when I am Star of the Week, but here is a bit more about me. I am originally from Burlington, Vermont where I spent my time skiing, enjoying summers by Lake Champlain, horseback riding in the Vermont countryside, and eating any maple treat or Ben and Jerry's ice cream I could get my hands on! I loved Vermont so much that I decided to attend Champlain College in Burlington to study Elementary Education. I moved to Boston in 2008 to attend graduate school at Lesley University where I studied Moderate Special Needs Pre-K to 8. I started my career in the Wellesley Public Schools and have been at Blessed Sacrament since 2011. I love first grade!
My husband Kevin and I were married in 2011 at the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. We now live in Dover with our son. We enjoy skiing and traveling any chance we get!
I am very excited to return to the classroom after my maternity leave last spring. I am passionate about teaching and can't wait to get to you know you all as we begin first grade!
