A big thank you to Lisa Nelson for being the secret reader coordinator for 1A! If you haven't already, please sign up for a slot to be the secret reader in our classroom. There are more slots for secret reader than there are children. For now, please sign up for only one slot. Lisa will open up the remaining spots after everyone has had a chance to sign up. If you are hoping for a specific date around your child's birthday please let me know. We can always fit in a few extra readers! Readers can be a parent, grandparent, family friend, or even an older sibling at BSS!
Secret reader will be on various Friday afternoons beginning at 1:35. When you arrive to 1A for your time slot, please wait outside the classroom door. When we are organized, your 1A student will come to the door to meet you. We play a cute process of elimination game just before you arrive. This narrows it down to the one student who has a reader arriving, though the actual secret reader will be a surprise!
