Upcoming Star of the Week: Egan Gill
Math: This week students completed work in our fourth unit,
Addition and Subtraction Facts to 12.
Look for your child’s assessment in their red folder. On Monday students will complete a cumulative
assessment on units 1-4 before we begin our fifth unit, Addition Facts to 20.
Phonics: We are nearing the end of our fourth unit which
focused on the bonus letter spelling rule and the glued sound “all” for reading
and spelling. Up next is unit five,
which focuses on the glues sounds “am” and “an” for reading and spelling.
Religion: Students are reviewing material on Jesus and his ministry on
Earth. Next week students will have an
assessment and move to the study of the Great Commandment.
