On Wednesday we began our next science unit, Pebbles, Sand and Silt. Students are beginning to explore the properties of different rocks through observation. We explored three different types of rocks; basalt, scoria, and tuff. We generated some of the science terms we learned in the fall and applied them to the rocks we explored. Each rock was different. Ask your child about what they discovered!
