Yesterday your child brought home a long-term assignment due on Monday, October 31st. The turkey project is a craft and writing project for your child. The writing should be done in two stages, a first draft and a final copy written on the given paper. The turkey itself should be created using crafting supplies and not colored with markers. In the spirit of recycling and reusing, please don't feel you need to buy anything special for this project. I am including three sample photos below of student work made entirely of recycled materials from last year. We can't wait to see our 1A turkeys in disguise!
