In an effort to enhance our First Grade Science curriculum, we are proudly launching "Scientist of the Week". On the Friday before your child's the scheduled week, students will bring home a binder of age appropriate experiments. As a family, you will choose one experiment, remove it from the binder and return the binder to school on Monday. During the week, students will practice their experiment at home.
On their scheduled presentation day, students will bring all the necessary materials to school and be prepared to demonstrate their experiment to the class. Please see the blog tag above to find your child's assigned week. Much like Star of the Week, if a family needs to reschedule your week you are welcome to swap with another family. Please let us know as soon as you have made a change. There will also be a few weeks in May and June for changes. We are looking forward to learning more in Science through our budding scientists!
